Jim loves trains, he was featured on the front page of the Colorado Springs newspaper “The Gazette” in the engine of the train with the engineer. This was due to the fact that everyday the train went by Jim was out there waving to the engineer.
We’ve never been to a train show before but since we’re new here and trying all sorts of things we’ve never experienced before this is where we landed. Truth be told, I think I enjoyed it more than Jim. There were little tiny models shooting around the tracks, big clunky trains spewing smoke and making noise. But it was this in between little slice of heaven that captivated me. I could have lived in that microcosm for the rest of my life it was so bucolic and perfect.
