To the Power of Three
Three different people are responsible for writing this blog.
James (Jim) Robert Kirkley, III who worked in high-tech for many many years. After retirement he opened a high-end specialty food store in Santa Barbara, California.
Laura S. Kirkley also worked in high-tech, as a marketing guru until she retired. Laura helped build the retail store into more stores.
The third element is Chef James Robert Kirkley IV, our “ace in the hole!” James became a Chef in 2006 and has worked as a Personal Chef here in Santa Barbara and as Sous Chef at The Ahwahnee (now The Magnificent) Hotel in Yosemite National Park. He’s also worked as a Barista, Cheese Steward, and an expert in all things concerning olive oil. He is currently attending school in Portland, Oregon working toward a degree in Business.
The three of us have always loved to cook, entertain, and travel so it was only a natural progression that we share our passions with you.
