Yesterday we were up early and the weather was cool so we went for a walk down Cherry Lane near our house. Soon we were in the country with a terrific view of the mountains and downtown Medford. Saw about 8 deer total; two does with fawns on separate occasions plus some other deer along the way. Too far away to get good pictures though. It was early enough that the sun was low and as we were walking back we got this shot, showing our shadows with the mountains and Medford in the distance, with a horse pasture in the foreground.
