Getting Healthy the Oregon Way: Oxbow Regional Park

Another park that came up in my search for autumn hikes, Oxbow Regional Park was located closer to my apartment than Ten Falls. Unfortunately I didn’t get going on it until later in the day so it ended up being a much shorter hike. But that was okay.

I showed up later in the day, close to closing time. But this ended up being okay because there was parking available outside of the park that I could use without getting my car locked in the parking lot overnight.

The hike itself was very flat but had interesting terrain and ran along side a river. I’m going to have to see if there’s good fishing. It got late and I was still tired from exercising a lot the day before so I ended up cutting it short and taking the road back. This turned out to be good because I ran into some blacktail deer along the way.
