We were watching a Bon Appetit episode the other day, where each chef was making their favorite cocktail. One chef (I forget which one) made a Negroni. We had made them before and kind of forgot how good they were. So I jumped up and made us some. The Negroni is so good because the sweet vermoth balances nicely against the bitter Campari. The gin just adds to the flavor as well.
A proper Negroni should be stirred, not shaken.
Ingredients
- 1 ounce gin
- 1 ounce Campari
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- Garnish: orange peel
Steps
-
Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice, and stir until well-chilled.

-
Garnish with an orange peel.
