You can’t tell very well but the towel side of my small galley kitchen is six inched lower than where I’m taking my photo from. So every time I travel to the frig or get a spice I descend 6 inches. On my way back to the stove of counter I accent 6 inches. I don’t mind the trek. But I do mind when people take of picture of Jim and me side by side. I like the high side. I love being 5’10” to Jim’s 6′. The other positioning is pathetic, he’s 6′ and I’m 4’10”, needless to say I prefer the first position.
I’m also posting my recipe for roasted peppers. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheet with Reynolds Wrap, heavy duty non-stick foil. Scatter peppers over pan, (one layer no crowding) douse with good olive oil, kosher salt, and fresh ground pepper. Roast pepper for 30 or 20 minutes, remove from oven and salt and pepper the other side. No additional olive oil is needed. Continue to roast for 20 or 30 minutes.
Dinner was awesome! We grilled some additional vegetables and some chicken. We wanted to eat outside but Mother Nature decided to treat us to a gargantuan thunder storm. Was quite an experience. Thunder works and lightening, very very frightening!!!
So getting back to walking up and down, figure by the time we leave WI for the summer I will have climbed Mount Ashland.
