Lemon, Lime & Bitters with Gin

On the way home from Portland, we stopped in Cottage Grove for lunch. While there our waiter mentioned there was a bottle shop associated with the restaurant and took us over to it after we finished lunch. It was loaded with exotic beverages, but he pointed out one in particular and said that it went really well as a cocktail with gin. It was Bundaberg Lemon, Lime & Bitters made in Australia. He also suggested we get a locally made Crater Lake Gin to go with it, which we did. Got home and after unpacking, we made some cocktails. Boy were they good. I would suggest 1 part gin to 2 parts Bundaberg poured over ice in an old fashioned glass.

They have a product locator on their website.

  1. I love Crater Gin! Well, pretty much all of their spirits for that matter… 😉
Budaberg makes a mean Ginger Beer (although Cock&Bull is still my fave) so I can imagine that this drink is just as good. I will give it a try!

  2. Good luck finding it here. We have been canvasing the stores in Medford, but it seems all that they have is the root beer and ginger beer. We talked to the manager at Cartwrights about possibly getting it in store, we will see. Let us know if you find it locally. Not even available on Amazon…..
