Once again referencing the Oregonian article, 12 Autumn Hikes to See Fall Colors Around Portland, I decided to give myself a bit of a birthday present and go on a more distant hike. Ten Falls Trail stood out to me for the name alone. It did in fact have ten falls all along it’s distance, I managed to get pictures of all of them. What I wasn’t prepared for was just how astonishingly gorgeous this particular hike was. The time of year and color combined with perfect, cool, slightly damp weather made for one of the best hikes I’ve ever been on. I have to go back and soon before the leaves fall. Maybe even see what it looks like in the winter. I also couldn’t take a bad picture even if I tried.
