As much as I write here, I’m not actually a huge presence among blogs. I mostly just write my own and keep to myself. However a friend of mine does and will occasionally send me recipes. One of them really caught my attention for a more Fall-themed meal that involved one of my favorite meats, pork, with a wonderful sauce made out of apples, shallots and nice warm fall spices.
I could repeat the recipe here. But honestly the person who wrote the blog is a lot better at food photography than me so I’ll just provide a link instead.

I loved how it turned out. While it made a massive portion supposedly for two people I ended up eating all of it myself. It was delicious and a great subtle way to combine sweet and savory flavors.
