Yesterday I made some boiled shrimp and some cocktail sauce to accompany the shrimp. It reminded me that I should post something about the cocktail sauce because not everyone knows you can easily make your own. You do not have to buy ready-made cocktail sauce.
Combine equal parts of Chili Sauce and Prepaired Horseradish. That’s it!
Zatarain’s Horseradish, 5.25 oz
For the shrimp, I added some sliced onions, garlic cloves, lemon, pepper corns, bay leaf and quite a bit of Cajun Spice to the boiling water. I let it steep for a while, then added the shrimp.
