Yesterday, Laura and I had the privilege of having lunch at the Santa Barbara Club. We were guests of our long-time financial adviser and friend Nate Cultice, whose is a member and also has his office at the club. You can only eat here if you are a member or are invited by a member. It was, we have to say, one of the nicest experiences we have had in a long time. We are talking wonderful attentive service, great food, white linen table cloths, silverware, flowers the whole bit. You know the kind of experience you really have to appreciate because we so seldom see it anymore. On top of all this, wonderful wide-ranging conversation with Nate.
Nate is the President of Castle Wealth Planning, which he founded in 2002 after working at West Coast Financial. Nate has been managing our investments since December of 2002. He has done very well for us. Particularly during the 2008 financial crisis, where he was astute enough to quickly go all cash before the worst of the meltdown occurred, saved our bacon.
Anyway, we have become good friends and it was great to get together yesterday and share stories over a few glasses of wine and some great food.
Thank you Nate for being a resource and good friend.
